What’s better than an excuse to escape the winter for the beach? Inspired by a wedding Marta attended (also in Riviera Maya— hi Whitcomb family!), it immediately checked all the boxes for what we were looking for to celebrate our big day.
Rather than make you travel from Boston to Philly or vice versa, we hope you’re excited to take a vacation with us in January 2025! -
We’ve partnered with Your Cancun DMC to provide transportation for our guests from the airport to Playa del Carmen (and back). Their site collects all our wedding guest's flight information and groups you together for the best price. If you’re interested in this option, please see more information HERE and fill out the necessary details.
Alternatively, you can look into other ride services on your own. Pricing varies by provider and is per car, not per person, so traveling in a group may make things easier.
For the wedding, transportation will also be provided for you to and from the venue itself, with pick-up and drop-off taking place at the Grand Hyatt where we are staying. Please plan accordingly for this depending on your own accommodations.

We are asking all guests to please note their attendance in the RSVP section on this website by no later than November 1, 2024.
No paper cards will be distributed for RSVPs.

Dress code for the welcome party is casual.
Dress code for the ceremony and reception is resort casual—long dresses, button down shirts and slacks (no Hawaiian shirts), jackets optional. For comfort you may consider a warm weather material.
*Please note: our ceremony and cocktail hour will be in the sand, so please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking on this surface in.

Our wedding is going to be adults-only!
While we love all of your children, we want you to be able to attend as freely as possible at a venue where we can stay as late (or early) as we want! Please take advantage of this trip for the two of you to enjoy all that Mexico has to offer without having to worry about the kids.
We appreciate your understanding!

Completely up to you!
The most important day will be Saturday, January 18th when the ceremony and reception will take place.
If you are arriving on Friday, we are hosting a welcome party for that night at the Grand Hyatt starting at 8:00pm. You can depart on Sunday, or take advantage of the long weekend and stick around. We'll be meeting by the pool to recover around 11:00am.
We'll be at the Grand Hyatt starting on Wednesday for anyone who wants to join for even more extended fun.

Yes you do! At the moment, the passport office is a little backed up so we recommend you get on that as soon as possible.
-
The wedding will be outdoors right on the beach! While we are hoping for good weather, we will have cover at the same outdoor site if it does shower at all.
-
During the day, you can expect lots of sunshine with highs of around 80° for Riviera Maya in January, cooling down to a low of 68° at night!
